Industry labels are a starting point, but useful AI projects are defined by workflows. The following are illustrative opportunities, not promises of performance or claims about Novacom deployments. Each needs its own data, controls and evaluation.

Retail and e-commerce

A product-information assistant can answer questions from approved catalogue data and policies. A returns assistant can prepare an eligible request while the commerce system enforces the rules. A virtual try-on experience can help shoppers explore appearance, provided its visual limitations are clear.

Measure whether shoppers find suitable information and complete the intended task. For try-on, test representation quality and usability across a representative product set. Do not imply that a generated image guarantees fit, fabric behaviour or an exact real-world appearance.

Logistics and field operations

An assistant can summarise delivery exceptions, retrieve procedures and draft a customer update from confirmed tracking events. It should distinguish recorded facts from an estimated cause. Live operational updates need authorised system integrations.

Measure time to prepare a correct update, missed exceptions and human correction effort. Test absent scans, duplicate events and contradictory records. A confident invented delivery time can damage trust more than a clear statement that an update is unavailable.

Professional services

Teams can use AI to locate approved knowledge, compare document versions or prepare a sourced first draft. Access controls are important when one client’s material must remain separate from another’s.

Evaluate whether the draft preserves important qualifications and whether every factual claim can be checked. Keep expert review for professional judgements. Faster drafting does not automatically mean a better final deliverable if review becomes harder.

Property and customer-facing services

A voice or text agent can explain approved service information, capture an enquiry and help schedule a follow-up through a supported integration. Confirm important details and avoid promises about availability or pricing without a current source.

Measure qualified enquiries, completed follow-ups and transfer quality. Count abandoned or repeated contacts as well as successful conversations. A high conversation count is not a useful outcome on its own.

Government and sensitive organisations

Internal document search, procedure assistance and administrative intake can be candidate workflows. Deployment boundaries, accessibility, language performance and auditable decisions deserve explicit review.

Begin with assistance to authorised staff and clear human accountability. Do not assume that a general chatbot is suitable for eligibility decisions or sensitive public-service actions. Define the applicable controls with the responsible teams before choosing an implementation.

Turn an example into a project

For the most relevant workflow, write one user journey, identify the source owner and collect representative cases. Choose a measurable outcome and a stopping condition. A narrow pilot with honest results gives a much stronger basis for expansion than a catalogue of speculative features.
